If after the three exploratory visits you wish to join the Beaudesert Pistol Club inc, the administrator will issue an application to join.
Prior to submitting an application to join the club, WLB require a submission of a completed form QP515 Statement of Eligibility to join an approved pistol-shooting club. This is available online from WLB or from your local Police Station. Once completed the form is to be lodged at the station. It might take a few weeks for approval to be granted via Form 36.
Once in hand visitors can submit an application to join the Beaudesert Pistol Club Inc. The required paperwork to support an application will be provided by the Club Administrator.
After a Probationary period of 6 months, new members can apply for a Concealable Firearms License.
An application can be made after the completion of a ‘Firearms Safety Course’, which the club can arrange. (to gain knowledge of safety practices for the use, storage and maintenance of a firearm) Applicants having an A or B licence will only need to do the legislation and Category H components.
