25M Rapid Fire Pistol
An Olympic and World Cup Competition.
Course of Fire over 25M
2 stages comprising 30 shots
One shot at 5 targets
25M Pistol
25m Pistol Women’s event is similar to Centre Fire.
Course of Fire over 25M
Shot with .22 cal
Precision Stage 30 shots in six series of 5 shots over 5 minutes
25M Standard Pistol
ISSF shooting event introduced at the World Championship level in 1970.
Course of Fire over 25M
Shot with a .22Calibre Pistol during 3 Timed stages:
4 series of 5 shots in 150 seconds per series
50M Pistol
The 50m Pistol event is shot at all levels of competition up to and including the Olympics.
Course of Fire – 50M
Generally Shot with a long barrel single shot .22 calibre pistol
Competition series. 60 scoring shots. Each 10 shots in 15 Minutes
25M Centre Fire Pistol / Sports Pistol
25m Centre Fire Pistol is one of the ISSF shooting events and is normally a men-only event.
Course of Fire over 25M
Either shot with .22 cal or Centre Fire Pistol up-to .38 Cal
Precision Stage 30 shots in six series of 5 shots over 5 minutes
10M Air Pistol
10m Air pistol is an ISSF event shot by both men and women, at all levels of competition up to and including the Olympics and Paralympics.
60 scoring shots in a match
If there is a final the top 8 shoot it out.
If a match is shot on paper targets the timeframe is 90 minutes
Black Powder
10m Air pistol is an ISSF event shot by both men and women, at all levels of competition up to and including the Olympics and Paralympics.

Black Powder 25 Metres
Black Powder 25 Metres – 13 Shot Event on a ISSF 25/50m precision target
Supported Rest Matches
Supported Rest Shooting allows seniors to enjoy shooting sports with pistol support, using 4.5 mm air or 5.6 mm rimfire pistols on 10m or 50m ranges.
